AQI - CAAQMS

Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (CAAQMS):

PPCC has installed one CAAQMS at Town and Country Planning Department , Jawahar Nagar, Puducherry for assessing the Ambient air quality in continuous basis. This is capable to measure the following parameters ( PM10, PM2.5, SO2, NO2, CO, O3, NH3, Benzene and Meteorological parameters viz. wind speed, wind direction , temperature, humidity, solar radiation, and rain fall.
